    1. I'm guessing Bandai doesn't want to re-release the Strike with so many variations. Which is a good thing, since it would become annoying for modellers to build the strike frame over and over again. Plus its more affordable for the buyer to purchase the backpack by itself. And bandai saves resources by not making another Strike. Win-win

    2. I think it's just an expansion set for the Build Strike Gundam Full Package.

Remove the Build Booster and add the Universal Booster and you have the Star Build Strike!

    3. Yeah and anyway its just extra armour over the build strike right?

    4. you can attach it with MG build strike gundam. But, i don't know how to get star build strike's weapon.

    5. MG Build Strike Gundam. It's just the backpack. I bet this will include the effect and the beam rifle of the star build. The latest episode show that it just use teh star booster. not entirely new gundam. CMIIW

    6. It's called the Build Strike. Seriously, besides the pack and weapons (Which this will likely include at that price) it's the same suit. Go and look at the lineart. The body remains the same.

    7. Anon 1:39 NOPE,you're wrong,it has red parts in the -how to call it?- external zone of the knees and forearms

    8. IMO it's more money saver to make the MG Build Strike and MG Universal Booster as a whole set rather than as a separate kit(The Build Booster will just ended up to be scrapped if you don't need it) more especially if you want the MG Build Strike Full Package and Star Build Gundam to be displayed both as separate units.

    9. DAMN GOOD BUSINESS STRATEGY FROM BANDAI..

    10. Never fear people, if you look at the bottom right corner of the picture updated 2/25/14 and the top right of picture updated 12/18/13, you'll see that this kit will come with the additional parts to upgrade the knees and make the rifle add-on and shield.

  2. I dont want to be all that hopeful, but maybe Star Build MG will be a conversion of the current Full Package?

  3. 2800 yen??? Holy shitballs

    ReplyDelete
  4. I bet it will come with parts to convert the Build Strike to the Star Build Strike

  5. Star Build Gundam is still the original Build Strike Gundam. The Universal Booster, I think, is an add-on parts for the Build Strike.
Let's say Universal Booster is like Skygrasper with launcher and sword pack.

  6. Just add a new shield n rifle and extra add on armour, there u have it star build gundam :)

  7. I hope it comes with the wing effect parts ^_^

  8. How if they use same method with MG Victory: make MG Victory, Core Booster as add-on, then MG Victory Dash? So it'll be MG Build Strike, Universe Boost, then MG Star Build Strike CMIIW

  9. looks like you'll get all that you need to to add on to the build strike to make star build strike. [16:53:41] http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10255349

  10. You can see there are grey pieces attached to the shield, legs, and gun. Obviously this isn't just the backpack. It's a full conversion.

  11. Looks like this will probably come with the weapons and extra parts which you could swap onto your MG build Strike full package. It saves bandai the money for packing in yet another strike with a new pack similar to how they released the Sword and launcher strike packs separate for the HD remaster. This could also make them more money because some people will buy a second MG build strike FP to put the Universal Booster on

    ReplyDelete
  12. Yeahh.....
At last mg star build strike is about to be come

    ReplyDelete
  13. Bandai how about releasing all strike packs for mg? I don't want to buy whole set over and over again especially when the inner frame is outdated.

    1. Trying to get Keroro a gift aren't you? Knowing as he's a sucker for MGs, he probably would kill you if you got him an HG. So get him the ultimate gunpla fan gift, Perfect Grade 00 Raiser! And if he doesn't like it, use Tamama Impact!

  14. I hope it comes with a set with the full package? ?

  15. They will out MG Universal Booster first then release the full MG Star Build Strike (Build Strike [no Build Booster] + Universal Booster) with extra effect parts to tempt hardcore collectors to buy again :P

  18. I can see a new attachment part for the leg armor

  19. Already preordered 2. Now I only have to decide what will be the paint scheme for the Universal Strike E

  20. This is both exciting and annoying at the same time.
I'm excited that this is coming, but I'm a bit annoyed and will most likely wait to see what Bandai does since they did something similar with the HG 00 line and the MGV2 where they released 1 add-on set and then released another with everything together at at slightly discounted price.

    1. How about this: stop complaining about it and the fact that you won't get the kits you wished Kim.

    2. Hey suiton, there is still no MG V2 Gundam yet!!! Stop pretending to be a Gundam encyclopedia.

    3. F-ing Troll. I'm satisfied with what Bandai did on this. They outdid themselves with the Beam Rifle attachments, that's good. And interchangeable shield part is good.

If you want to get the ones you like then go to BANDAI HQ by yourself.

  21. The prototype universal booster looks more nicer than than the official images

  22. It comes with the Plavsky Wing and Plavsky Power Gate parts and also a joint part to make the Booster compatible with other MGs.

  24. If bandai is making boosters for the build fighter line do u think they will make the amazing booster for the zaku amazing???

    ReplyDelete
  25. Okay. I see the yellow effect parts with looks like similar looking posing rods that came with the Nu and Strike Freedom. Now, show us the blue Plavsky wings!

    ReplyDelete
  26. i think the weapon and shield is included in the universal booster

    ReplyDelete
  27. Just wait and see what Bandai does later. They are going to probably put out another release for the entire MG Star Build Strike with maybe some 'exclusive' parts or whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The wings look weird?

    ReplyDelete
  29. do you have to paint the booster ?

    ReplyDelete

    1. this is master grade so obviously no, or minimum

  30. They will probably release a RG mode activated version with all the sparkly clear blue parts eventually

    ReplyDelete
  31. Finally, let have a Star Build Exia Gundam :3

    ReplyDelete
  32. Because of this guy, I will be getting another MG Build Strike. I wish they just included it in the box but I guess this is a good alternative. Anyway, the Plavsky Wing effect pieces look way better than the crap they gave on the HG version. What I want to know is when they're going to eventually do an exclusive release for the RG System variant with like clear blue or like a metallic blue inner frame. Maybe that's a bit much? Yea. Maybe we're just gonna get the X Maoh and Wing Fenice next since they will most likely be reusing the MG X and MG Wing TV with modified parts here and there.

    1. and to others like me its convenient since its cheaper and easy as 1 2 3 swap backpacks :))

      Delete
    2. If they reused the mark 2 then I don't see y bandai wont make the MG X maoh n Fenice?

    3. Suiton, no matter under how many different user names you use, we'll still know it's you...

  33. I can see Bandai really loves to milk out of this new gundam series..well I'd say they're not bad at all, coz I think its worth doing so, and somehow benefits us as a collector. However, it certainly pains our pockets just to get what we wanted but I guess that's part of our hobby. I'm just hoping Bandai can just deliver everything out in one swoop without us waiting for exclusive releases such as this and that would probably save us a few penny...it doesn't hurt anyway swapping parts and store the extras in a ziplock..

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hope Bandai makes more boosters in MG form so we could customise :D

    ReplyDelete
  35. i guess sei will make a build strike freedom gundam or build freedom gundam since freedom and strike freedom are developed from strike
